Mom’s Ultimate Menu Helper Launch
Hey there Happy New Year 2019! We hope that you had a wonderful and blessed holiday season. I know that I had a great holiday season. I was privileged to participate in some new traditions (I say traditions because I plan to make them that from now on!) One was that I was able to take Christmas cards and a few wrapped packages to a local shelter and LOVED seeing the joy on the people’s faces that they were receiving Christmas cards! I was personally able to give the one gift to a lady who was new and hadn’t received anything for Christmas yet. It made me feel so joyful to be able to spread cheer. There are many different reasons why one might find themselves in that situation and I feel for the families and people in those situations. I know that it’s not easy and that they are working hard to be overcomers and they certainly can be overcomers.
So, last year I wrote about the coming of a menu planner for busy moms and now it’s time to get that launched! You will now see a pop up on the website to sign up for the ultimate menu planner, please go ahead and sign up! I’ll be sending out weekly menu plans for you! And you want to be on that list because you’ll get it before anyone else.
I received some new cookbooks for Christmas and I’m loving them! Last night I made a new to us recipe that involved putting everything into a foil packet and baking in the oven I’ve heard them called “hobo” packets, but I like to think of them as an all in one dinner and easy to make, something that could be made over a campfire, something easy to make while traveling or quick to throw together. I did it a bit different from the actual recipe and customized it for my family. It’s going to take a bit of practice to ensure that I get it just right as the bake time wasn’t quite correct for the way that I did it and parts of it didn’t quite get done. But it was still good.
So today, I’m launching the menu planner! I do have to say that the prices on the shopping list are current for what is in my area. But you can see what is current for your area by going to the links and inputting your zip code. Usually there isn’t a whole lot of difference. I hope that this will help you in your menu planning and even budgeting with meal planning. All you need to do to get the planner is head over here and sign up.
